The DOS Crescent Foundation works with youth in grades K-12 to help them grow beyond potential barriers to become successful, contributing members of our local community and the larger society. Young people in Pinellas County and Florida face hurdles that negatively influence their academic, employment, and financial futures. Some of the roadblocks include poor school performance and attendance, a real or perceived lack of employment and career opportunities, negative influences from peer pressure, and a lack of positive community-based support. 

The DOS Crescent Foundation also addresses community needs for the young adults and citizens in Pinellas County by providing accurate and impartial opportunities to acquire community resources information needed in the form of housing, health, economic, and social issues of importance

Our programs include scholarship opportunities, athletic training, community events, mentoring and tutoring, cultural awareness, recreational events, health fairs, college tours, financial literacy, and much more. These programs promote physical and mental health growth, and participants learn the value of teamwork, dedication, honesty, and hard work. The goal is to exercise the mind, body, and spirit of our community.
